Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice products were provided to the set department of the Jim Carrey movie, “Fun With Dick and Jane.” Look for the Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice pushcart and products when you watch it on television or DVD.

“Fun With Dick and Jane” is an update of the 1977 comedy, which starred Jane Fonda & George Segal, where a married couple turn to robbery to pay the bills. This time Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni star in this madcap farce which released December of 2005.

I thought, ‘Wow-that’s it!’” Moore contacted a firm specializing in movie product placement, and provided them with photos of his colorful carts.

Product placement in films is a win-win situation. Little Jimmy’s is shown in a flattering light and the producers get real-life props. “It’s a great way to gain tremendous exposure,” states Moore. Plus, this is the kind of campaign that keeps on giving. Moore comments, “Being in a movie helps my customers, not just for a week or a month. When the film comes out on DVD, the campaign goes on and on.”

Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice is known for offering assistance to customers every step of the way. Their website is packed with everything you need to either start a business immediately, or add to an existing business, including instructional videos. Moore beams when he talks about helping fledgling startups, “I try to give them the benefit of my family’s seventy-five years of experience making and selling our Italian Ice.” One piece of advice he’s quick to pass out is: “Be smart with your marketing dollars. Always consider ways to leverage what the parent company is doing. In this case, when these movies come out, all our cart owners can get even more visibility with local contests for tickets, coupons, etc.”

Italian ice pushcart on the road again- A crazy photographer just sent me this picture of a Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice Cart out and about this 4th of July weekend. The photographer told me she nearly drove off the road taking this picture of this ice cart.

Yes! Of Course! I was on my way to Lake Travis in Austin, Texas! Every weekend I set up at “Daybreak” Boat Rentals and Mini Golf, located on Hi-Line Dr. just off FM 620, in between Carlos n’ Charlies and Just For Fun!  Tons lake goers walk back and forth past my cart a day as I introduce them to Italian Ices! So far everyone loves it way better than snowcones and shaved ice and the free samples are the way to go! July 4th weekend was awesome complete with fireworks! Champion Eaters to storm Raceway Park NJ for the Little Jimmy’s National Italian Ice Eating Championship

Little Jimmy’s Italian Ices and the New York based ALL PRO Eating are shivering with excitement and pride as they announce the first ever Little Jimmy’s National Italian Ice Eating Championship which will take place on June 19th, 2010 at Raceway Park in Englishtown New Jersey. The competition will take place as part of the park’s 35th Annual Snap on Tools Night of Thrills presented by P.C. Richards and Son. In addition to the eating competition, the night will be jam-packed with motor sports fun for the whole family, including jet cars blazing down the quarter-mile track at over 300 mph, wheel-standers, and pro mods. And don’t forget everyone’s favorite – Monster Trucks! Crowd favorites like Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, and Monster Mutt will be on hand to steal the show with mayhem and car crushing action under the lights, this event is not to be missed!

As the East Coast of America emerges from one of its coldest winters on record, several well credentialed Food Warriors are expected to make the journey to compete for the title of National Italian Ice Eating Champion and $1,100 in prize money. Leading the charge will be elite Food Warrior and Sterling Virginia native Ian “The Invader” Hickman whose resume includes many National World Eating titles such as Zucchini, Vanilla Custard, Pulled Pork and Perogies. In addition, Hickman is the former World Record Holder in Chili where he downed an amazing 10.2 lbs of Chili in only five minutes in Canton Ohio in February, 2008. Also, Hickman is a member of Team-USA who competed against the mighty Japanese in Tokyo, in 2007.

Also, In addition, female stand out and NJ Canoli Eating Champ “Sweet”Jill Stoler along with the legendary Four Time National 1/4 lb Hot Dog & World Cookie and National Beef Patty Eating Champ, King-George Van Laar from Roselle Park NJ. In addition, NYC Taco Eating Champ Paul “Pork Slap” Arcaria and New York Hard Boiled Egg Eating Champion Chris “The American” Schlesinger are some of the other well credentialed Food Warriors who expected to compete for the Prestigious title of Americas #1 Italian Ice Eating Champ.

Event Emcee will be none other than Competitive Eating’s “Minister of Munch” and Hall of fame Food Warrior, Arnie “Chowhound”Chapman who will be joined by “The velvet voice of competitive eating Mike “Sisco-Kid” Sisco. Continental Airlines and the Port Authority of NJ held a Special Olympics Plane Pull last month. A good day was had by all with fun for the entire family with all proceeds going to the New Jersey Special Olympics. Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice donated some Italian Ice pushcarts and Italian ice to this fun Family Day at Newark Liberty Airport. Teams of 20 competed to pull a Boeing 737 weighing over 93,000 lbs. on the Continental Airlines tarmac at Newark Airport!     NEW SLIDESHOW!!

Monster Mash Video starring Little Jimmy, Dennis, Tom, Harry and Anthony

Happy Halloween!

“Ironsides” finished shooting in Cape Cod last month. I put together a slide show of some actual shooting stills from this new independent feature film which has our products in the film. The movie is directed by Joel Greenberg (based on his novel) and is slated for release early 2010.

The box office is now officially open for the 2009 Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice was given out by Radio City Music Hall to all that attended the event that included Santa Claus, The Rockettes and New York Giant kicker Lawrence Tynes.
