Leanne from Kentucky First Year selling Italian Ice

This is probably one of the longest videos we have ever received at Little Jimmy’s Italian Ices. I sometimes edit these videos to under five minutes, however in this case I thought it would be interesting to see the entire video from a customer’s point of view. Everything from getting the cart and setting it up, to attending an event, and the actual event itself. First half of the video has to do with Italian Ice. The second half of the video is all about the air show that Leanne was watching while selling Little Jimmy’s Italian ice. As an Italian ice vendor, you get a front Row seat to cool events that you attend. Leanne observed Helicopter rescues, Fighter Planes flying overhead, parades, all while working- something you certainly cannot do from behind a desk! If you are interested in selling italian ices also give us a call at 800 763-4348 and we will help to get you started.

“Hello Anthony and Dennis:

We just finished our 1st big event and it lasted for 6 days .  It was a county fair and horse show in Kentucky.  There were several children and some people were talking about the cost and comparing it to a shaved ice so we came up with a 2 scoop serving that we sold for 2 dollars and called it a “child size” and we sold several of those in addition to the normal 3 dollar size and several baseball helmets.

We had so much fun, but we were really tired…it was very hot.  I have attached some pictures of some of the police officers that loved Little Jimmy’s Italian Ices and one little boy that was competing in the horse show…he did win 1st place in his category and ate a lot of blueberry ice when he was done competing (he would come up at stick out his tongue and say what flavor do I want).  One of the police officers is originally from New York and he told everyone how great our product was and how it made him homesick.

I gave a quote today to our local hospital for an event that they are having for there major donors in October.  This event will consist of the movers and shakers in my community and could lead to a lot of corporate/employee events.  I also am talking to some Wal-Marts about setting up with them.

Thanks for all the advice and help.  We are loving it…I have wanted this cart for 5 years and now my dream is coming to reality and it is even better that I dreamed it would be.

Take care,

Leanne Mabrey
Kentucky”
