Here are a couple of questions we received about transporting the Little Jimmy’s Italian Ice cart if your vehicle doesn’t have at least a 34 inch clearance. Great idea found from one of our vendors for about $300-
“I was trying to find some videos that would show loading the cart into an SUV or van. I only have about 32-33 inches of height clearance in our SUV (a gmc terrain) – and the cart is 34 inches high, right? Lenght and width are fine. Probably going to need an alternative way to transport the cart – any suggestions or information?” Adam
“These videos are always great! I have to find something I can move around by myself (I drive a sedan). How do your owners get their units from place to place? Do you have any suggestions for me as far as what kind of unit I could handle on my own? Thanks!” Susan
“In order to transport the cart around I need to get a hitch and small, mountable scooter carrier with ramp. Any suggestions on this? I’m curious if other vendors have done this. Your cart is too large to fit in my SUV.” Lilly
Enclosed is an email we received from one of our customers. This explains how to travel with a cart attached to your car:
Hi Anthony: We were so lucky yesterday that we found one cargo carrier available at a local hitch business. We have ordered another one for the other cart, but we’re ready to start with one. Went to the inspection today, all went super! Attached are pictures of the cart on the cargo carrier. This could help other people. We’re going to practice selling ‘ice’ at the beach this weekend.

The extra long ramp makes loading and unloading simple while the bi-fold design makes it easy to work with. Carrier is also a little wider and longer than similar models. Folds up when not in use.
